Steve Kelly Head Coach

Steve brings over 40 years of coaching experience to Trident and currently serves as the Lead Bronze Group Coach at Parkland Aquatic Club (PAAC), where his swimmers consistently exceed the goals and expectations he sets for them. His passion for swimming began at the age of seven, competing for the Community YMCA in Upper Darby and the Suburban Swim Club in Newtown, PA.

A Lehigh University graduate, Steve has balanced a successful career in sales and sales management alongside his dedication to coaching. He is also a proud husband, father of two daughters, and grandfather of two. With deep family ties to Trident, we are excited to welcome Steve in this leadership role and look forward to benefiting from his expertise and passion for the sport!

Chrissy Cornish Diving Coach

Coach Chrissy is back for her fifth year as the Head Diving Coach for Trident, and she brings with her tremendous amount of experience as a diver and a coach.  

She was an 8-time All-American diver at Clarion University where her highest NCAA Division II finish was 4th place on three-meter.  While diving in college, Chrissy also coached summer league diving at Towamencin Swim and Dive Team in Montgomery County.  

Chrissy served as the Head Diving Coach at Delta State University as a Graduate Assistant while she earned her MS Elementary Education.  Both years as Head Coach, Delta State qualified divers for NCAA Championships.  

Currently a Kindergarten teacher at Macungie Elementary, she lives with her husband and three children in Lower Macungie.  She is excited to be back on deck coaching the sport she loves.

Kaley McKenzie Assistant Coach

Kaley will be graduating from Parkland High School and will be attending Penn State University in August. She has been a competitive swimmer for the past 9 years. 

Kaley started swimming when was 9 at Trident Swim Club. In 6th grade, Kaley started swimming year round with Parkland Swim Club. 

Kaley has swam for Parkland High School Varsity team for the past four years. She has worked at Dorney Park and Wild Water Kingdom for the past four summers and she will lifeguard for them again this summer. 

She has also helped to give swim lessons at Trident as well as Parkland Swim Club for children ages 10 and under. She loves working with kids and is excited for a great season this summer!

Natalie Cheplick Assistant Coach

Natalie Cheplick is a rising sophomore at Penn State University. She joined the Trident Swim Team when she was 8 years old and she had swam year round at PAAC for the 9 years. 

Her passions for swimming stems from the life long friends and accomplishments that are developed. She is excited to pass this along to swimmers while helping them become their best in the fun and positive environment of Trident!

Jacob Piccini Assistant Coach

Jacob is a rising senior at Parkland High School. He has been swimming competitively since 2015 and coaching at Trident for the past 4 years. 

Jacob started his swimming career at Trident when he was 6 years old. He is still swimming today thanks to great coaches who inspired him. 

Jacob swims for the Parkland High School varsity team and has qualified for states for the past 3 years.  He also swims for Parkland Swim Club year round.  Additionally, Jacob is a lifeguard at Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom. In August, Jacob will be participating in the NYC Navy SEAL Swim, which involves swimming 3 miles in the Hudson River.   

Jacob has helped give swim lesson to kids 10 & under and loves teaching kids the necessary skills needed to be safe in the water. He is looking forward to sharing his passion for swimming to the next generation of swimmers.
