During registration, drink donations were initially planned to be divided by age group. Now that registration numbers are finalized, we determined that using a Sign Up Genius would allow for a better overall distribution of drinks across the season.

National Anthem Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers interested in singing the National Anthem at our home swim meets and Championships. If your athlete or a family member would like to participate, please email [email protected].

Time Trials - June 11 at 5:30 PM
Time Trials are an exciting opportunity for swimmers and families to experience the flow of a swim meet before the regular season begins.
- Trident swimmers will get the opportunity to experience the feel of a swim meet in a lower-pressure environment
- All swimmers will establish preliminary season times that will serve as a baseline for tracking best times throughout the season
- “Trainee” Team Support opportunities will be available for families interested in learning trained positions
Personal Best Beads Are Back!
We are excited to bring back Personal Best Beads this season!
Each athlete will receive a keychain in a small envelope located in their team mailbox. Time Trial results will serve as each swimmer’s starting baseline for the season. Beginning after the first official meet, beads will be added to athlete envelopes whenever they achieve a new personal best time.
Each event has its own bead color:
- Orange, Freestyle
- Green, Backstroke
- Yellow, Breaststroke
- Red, Butterfly
- Purple, Individual Medley
- Blue, Diving
Our divers will also earn Personal Best Beads whenever they achieve a new personal best score.
We hope this is a fun way for athletes to celebrate their progress and accomplishments throughout the season!
2026 ABE League Swim Championships
This year, Trident will be hosting Championships on July 24 and July 25, with a rain date scheduled for July 26.
Our Championship theme for 2026 is Winter Wonderland, and we are incredibly excited for the event!
Hosting Championships is a great opportunity for Trident to showcase the very best of our club, our families, and our athletes to the entire league. It is also one of the biggest fundraising opportunities of the year for our team.
We are looking forward to creating a fun, welcoming, and memorable experience for all athletes, families, and visiting teams. There will be many opportunities throughout the season for families to get involved and help make Championships a success.
If you have questions related to Championships, please contact Katie Brown at [email protected].
Championship Sponsorships
As many of you know, Trident will be hosting Championships this season, and sponsorship support will play a huge role in helping make the event successful.
We want to make participating in sponsorship outreach as easy as possible for our families. The Championship Sponsorship Packet is attached to this email so families can print as many copies as they would like. Printed copies will also be available at practice this week.
Families can help by:
- Dropping off a packet at businesses they frequent
- Sharing the packet with friends or contacts who own businesses
- Completing a sponsorship personally if they own a business
If you drop off or share a sponsorship packet, please email [email protected] with the business name so we can add it to our sponsorship tracking sheet and avoid duplicate outreach.
A few types of businesses we are especially hoping to connect with include:
- Restaurants
- Local contractors and home service companies
- Medical and dental offices
- Real estate agencies
- Banks and financial advisors
- Fitness facilities and sports organizations
- Local retail businesses
- Automotive dealerships and repair shops
Every sponsorship, large or small, helps support our athletes and contributes to making Championships a great experience for all participating teams and families. Thank you in advance for your support and willingness to help!
More information will continue to be shared as we get closer to the start of the season. We are looking forward to a fun and successful summer with all of our Trident families!
Thank you,
Trident Swim & Dive Team Committee
