Championship Countdown

It's hard to believe, but we are entering the final weeks of our regular season! The Championship Series will be here before we know it, and we are excited to celebrate all of the hard work our swimmers, divers, coaches, volunteers, and families have put in this summer.

The countdown is on! We have just two regular season meets remaining before the Championship Series begins. Let's finish the season strong and continue cheering each other on every step of the way.

Championship Merchandise

Thank you to everyone who ordered Championship Series apparel and personalized yard signs through the pre-sale.  Pre-sale apparel will be distributed July 16 & 17.

If you missed the deadline for pre-sale ordering Championship apparel, have no fear, customized heat-press apparel will be available during all sessions of the Championship swim meet.

Weekly Highlights

Thank you to everyone who helped make Family Night and our final home meet such a memorable evening! Seeing siblings and cousins swimming together in relays, hearing the cheers from our Trident families, and watching our athletes encourage one another made for an unforgettable night.

As we head into the final weeks of the regular season, let's continue bringing that same enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and Trident spirit to every practice and meet!

Away Meet at Kaybrook

Please remember to complete your meet declaration in SwimTopia if you have not already done so.

As always, swimmers should arrive at the time communicated by Coach Steve and wear their Trident team suit and blue team cap.

Please note there is no swim meet on Thursday, July 9.

Mini Meet Reminder

Families participating in Mini Meets are reminded that Coach Meredith Murphy will be collecting event fees.

• Individual Events: $5 per event
• Relay Events: Paid for by Trident

Please bring payment to Coach Meredith prior to your Mini Meet events.

Best Time Beads & Ribbons

Best Time Beads have been placed in each athlete's mailbox along with any ribbons they have earned so far this season.

After each meet, new Best Time/Personal Best Beads and ribbons will be added to your athlete's envelope as they continue to improve throughout the season.

Please leave your athlete's envelope in their mailbox so volunteers can continue adding awards after each meet.

Be sure to check your athlete's envelope regularly and celebrate all of your swimmer's accomplishments throughout the season!

Dive Team Updates

Dive Scoring Clinic

Alburtis Community Pool will host a Dive Scoring Clinic on:

Monday, July 6
6:30 PM

The clinic is expected to last approximately 60-90 minutes.

Anyone interested in learning more about dive scoring is encouraged to attend.

Diving Showcase

The Diving Showcase will be held on Thursday, July 16 at Trident.

This event is intended for divers who will not be representing Trident at the ABE League Diving Championships. It provides an opportunity for our younger and developing divers to showcase the skills they have worked hard to learn throughout the season.

The participation fee is $10 per diver and should be paid to Coach Chrissy no later than July 16.

If you have questions regarding the Diving Showcase or your diver's participation, please contact Coach Chrissy.

Team Support Updates

A huge thank you to all of our Trident families for your incredible support throughout the regular season!

We are excited to share that every Team Support position for our regular season meets has been filled! Your willingness to volunteer has helped make our meets organized, welcoming, and enjoyable for all of our swimmers, divers, and families.

As we prepare to host the ABE League Championship Series, our focus now shifts to filling the remaining Championship Team Support positions.

Families who have not yet met their seasonal Team Support requirement will be receiving an email from Julie Rohe with an update on their current Team Support status.

Remember, Championship Team Support jobs are worth 2 points each, making them one of the easiest ways to complete your Team Support requirement.

We are also hoping to recruit teen volunteers looking to earn community service hours to assist with many Championship positions. If you have a teenager, or know of one who may be interested in volunteering, please have them reach out to TTerri Carbone.

Please note that Parking Attendant positions must be filled by adult volunteers for safety reasons and are especially important.

Championship Raffle Donations

Thank you to everyone who has already signed up to donate raffle basket items!

If putting together an entire basket feels like a lot, gift cards are a great and easy way to contribute. We'll be grouping gift cards together into Gift Card Trees, so donations of any amount are appreciated.

Some ideas include Target, local restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, ice cream shops, or any business you think our families would enjoy.
