Championship Countdown

It's hard to believe, but we've reached the final week of our regular season! What an incredible summer it has been. Thank you to our swimmers, divers, coaches, volunteers, and families for making this season one to remember.

This week marks the beginning of our Championship Series as we wrap up the regular season and celebrate all of the hard work our athletes have put in over the past seven weeks.

Championship Schedule

• Tuesday, July 14 – Final Regular Season Meet at Brookside Country Club
• Thursday, July 16 – Diving Showcase at Trident
• Saturday, July 18 – Silver Swim Championships at Alburtis Community Pool
• Tuesday, July 21 – Trident End-of-Season Banquet
• Wednesday, July 22 – Diving Championships at Lehigh Country Club
• Friday & Saturday, July 24-25 – Swimming Championships at Trident

Championship Declaration Deadlines

Please remember to declare your athlete's availability in SwimTopia by the following deadlines:

• Diving Showcase – Wednesday, July 15
• Silver Swim Championships – Thursday, July 16
• Swimming Championships – Friday, July 17

Please note that Championship declarations indicate your athlete's availability. Final lineups will be determined by the coaching staff.

Pre-Order Championship Merch

Pre-order Championship shirts and sweatshirts will be distributed at practice between July 15-17.  

If you did not order a shirt but would like some championship swag, D  & J will be heat pressing custom items on July 24 & 25 during the championship swim meet.

Weekly Highlights

As we prepare for our final regular season meet, we want to thank every swimmer, diver, coach, volunteer, and family for making this such a successful season.

Whether your athlete dropped time, learned a new stroke, completed their first race, mastered a new dive, or simply encouraged a teammate, every contribution has helped make Trident a stronger team.

Let's finish the regular season with the same enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and Trident pride that we've shown all summer!

Final Regular Season Meet

Our final regular season meet will be:

Tuesday, July 14
Trident at Brookside Country Club

Please complete your meet declaration in SwimTopia if you have not already done so.

Let's finish the regular season strong and carry that momentum into Championships!

Best Time Beads & Ribbons

Best Time Beads have been placed in each athlete's mailbox along with any ribbons they have earned throughout the season.

After each meet, additional Best Time Beads and ribbons will be added to your athlete's envelope.

Please leave your athlete's envelope in their mailbox so coaches and volunteers can continue adding awards after each meet.

Be sure to check your swimmer's envelope regularly and celebrate all of their accomplishments!

Mini Meet

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Mini Meet! We hope our younger swimmers had a fun experience competing, building confidence, and enjoying the excitement of swim meets.

If you have not yet submitted your Mini Meet event fees, please provide payment to Coach Meredith as soon as possible.

The cost is $5 per individual event. Trident covers the cost of all relay events.

Dive Team Updates

Diving Showcase

The Diving Showcase will be held on Thursday, July 16 at Trident.

This event is for divers who will not be representing Trident at the ABE League Diving Championships and is a wonderful opportunity for our younger and developing divers to showcase everything they have learned throughout the season.

Important Reminders

• Last day to declare: Wednesday, July 15
• Participation Fee: $10 per diver
• Payment due to Coach Chrissy by July 15 (cash preferred)

Team Support Updates

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered throughout the regular season and to those who have already signed up to help during the Championship Series. Your dedication and willingness to serve are what make Trident such a special team.

If your family has not yet met your Team Support requirement, you will be receiving an email of your current Team Support Status. 

Championship Team Support jobs are worth 2 points each, making them the quickest way to complete your requirement.

We are also hoping to recruit teen volunteers in need of community service hours to assist with many Championship positions. If you have a teenager, or know of one who may be interested in volunteering, please have them reach out to Terri Carbone for more information.

Please note: Parking Attendant positions must be filled by adult volunteers and cannot be filled by student volunteers due to safety requirements.

One Final Request

If your family has already completed your Team Support requirement, thank you! Your generosity has played a huge role in making this season such a success.

As the host team for the ABE League Championships, we're asking families who are able to consider signing up for one additional Championship Team Support shift. Hosting Championships is a tremendous undertaking, and every extra volunteer helps us create a first-class experience for the hundreds of athletes, families, coaches, and spectators who will visit Trident.

If you're able to give just one more shift, it would make a meaningful difference and help showcase the incredible spirit of our Trident community.

Each team participating in Silver Swim Championships is required to provide two volunteers.

Championship Raffle Donations

Thank you to everyone who has already signed up to donate raffle basket items!

If putting together an entire basket feels like a lot, gift cards are a great and easy way to contribute. We'll be combining gift cards into several Gift Card Trees, so donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.

Fun Friday

Join us for our final Fun Friday of the season on Friday, July 17!

We'll celebrate another great summer of swimming and diving with a Pancake Breakfast following practice.

We hope all of our swimmers can stay and enjoy one last Fun Friday together before we head into the Championship Series!

Trident End-of-Season Banquet

Please mark your calendars for our Trident Swim & Dive End-of-Season Banquet on Tuesday, July 21.

Join us for an evening of food, fun, and celebration as we recognize our swimmers, divers, coaches, volunteers, and families and celebrate another fantastic Trident season together.
