Welcome to Registration for Trident Swim & Dive Team

Per ABE Swim League rules, families must be members of Trident Swim & Tennis Club to participate. For membership details, please visit Trident Swim & Tennis Club.

Roster Placement

• Athletes are placed into Roster Groups based on experience and skills.
• Please estimate your swimmers level during signup.
• Swimmers are evaluated during the first week of practice to verify proper group placement.
• Roster placement may be adjusted before or during the season based on age, ability, motivation and coach discretion.
• For any other questions, please email the Head Coach.

Fees

• Each swim only OR dive only athlete is $100.
• The maximum per-family base registration is $250.
• The registration pricing is the same for all swim groups or for diving.
• We are offer a swim AND dive option for an additional $20 per athlete.
• Please check the Swim & Dive box below
• The $20 will automatically be added to the registration.
• The Swim & Dive box only supports 1 athlete.
• For any additional swim and dive athletes, please head to our Team Store
• Add an Additional Diver: Registration Fee of $20 for each diver.
• Diver Only athletes do not need to pay the additional fee. Please do not check the box for them.

Team Support Commitment

As a summer swim team, we depend on your help to run meets for your children. There is a Team Support Bond per family. This will show up as a conditional fee/penalty.

This fee will NOT be charged if you complete your Team Support requirement. Team Support Jobs are described on our website.

• For the season, there is a minimum requirement of 5 team support points per family.
• All jobs will be available for sign ups on June 1^st. Regular Season jobs will be worth 1pt and Championship jobs will be worth 2pts.
  • Parents/Guardians, grandparents, and extended family members are eligible to contribute to your family team support point total
  • If an adult other than the parent/guardian listed on the registration form is completing the team support job, they must provide the name of the parent/guardian who registered for the job to the team support coordinator.
  • If completing team support jobs will be a hardship, a parent/guardian must discuss options with the Team Support Coordinator by June 15^th to determine alternative support options.

Snack Bar Support

• To streamline the snack bar donation process this season,
• There is a Snack Bar Support Fee of $20 per family that will automatically be added to the registration.
• There is a Snack Bar drink donation per athlete which will be collected at the beginning of the season.

Gear

• We require a competitive style swimsuit for all our team members.
• T-shirts and board shorts make learning to swim difficult.
• A pair of well fitting goggles that do not go over the nose.
• Goggles such as Speedo Vanquishers work well for almost all faces.
• A swim cap that covers long hair that would enter the swimmer's eyes or mouth.
• Any swimmer with long hair is expected to wear a cap for practice.
• Swim caps are encouraged for all swimmers.
• Trident latex caps available for $6.
• Water bottle with swimmer's name
• Optional: please consider purchasing a pair of fins, which are used by competitive swimmers.
• Please mark all equipment and gear with your swimmer's name and consider a bag for transportation.

Note

Please fill out the Swim Lesson Only Registration form for anyone taking lessons who is NOT on the swim team. A $5 registration fee will apply.
